- Prayer Cards: Help us lift up in prayer our catechumens and candidates from our community - both in our Order of Catholic Initiation for Adults and Youth (OCIA & OCIY) and Confirmation programs as they prepare to receive sacraments this spring. Prayer cards for each group will be in the Gathering Space starting Ash Wednesday.
- Lenten Regulations for Fasting and Abstinence: The purpose of our obligation to fast and abstain from meat is to be aware of our excesses so we can practice self-discipline and reflection. Fasting is to limit yourself to one full, meatless meal and two smaller snacks; this applies to Catholics age 18 – 59. Abstinence is to refrain from something; during Lent, Catholics 14 & over abstain from eating meat on Fridays. We have an obligation for both fasting and abstinence on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Learn more about this practice from Dynamic Catholic.
- Adoration: Spend an Hour with Jesus each week. Our Adoration Chapel is in need for some weekly adorers during Lent. Please visit our Adoration page to see days and times currently needed and to sign up. (Substitutes are available in case you are unable to serve your Hour.)
