- Prayer Cards: Help us lift our twelve Order of Catholic Initiation for Adults and Youth (OCIA & OCIY) catechumens and candidates and ten Confirmation candidates from our community up in prayer as they prepare to receive sacraments this spring. Prayer cards for each group will be in the Gathering Space starting Ash Wednesday.
- Lenten Regulations for Fasting and Abstinence: “Fasting” refers to limiting the amount of food eaten. The purpose of fasting is to turn back to God; Lenten fasting helps to release us from our attachments to the things of this world. Catholics age 18 and older fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. “Abstinence” is when you give something up, like meat, for a set period. Catholics age 14 and older do not eat meat on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays during Lent, including Good Friday. Learn more from the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis.
- MinisTREE: MinisTREE is an excellent opportunity to come together and help out with needed tasks and funding items outside of our regular budget. Find MinisTREE cards with requests from our ministries on the grids in our Gathering Space starting Ash Wednesday.
- MinisTREE is made possible by the Saints Ann & Wendelinus Catholic United Financial Council #46. Council #46 will donate $5 per completed MinisTREE card up to $500 to Saint Bonaventure. Their chapter representative is Bill McMullen, [email protected].

Lenten Mission: The Sacrament of Holy Eucharist
March 24 - 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church
Join us in the church for three evenings focused on the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist with Fr. Michael Van Sloun. The Eucharist has a transformative effect. If we truly desire, the Eucharist has the power to change us, not in a small way, but in a major way, to re-create us into a new and better person. A rich source of grace throughout life, the Eucharist is spiritual sustenance for our pilgrimage on earth, and at the time of death, the Eucharist is received as bread for the journey.
