Fall Festival
September 10-11, 2021

Event Schedule

As with many events this year, we were unable to hold our 2020 Fall Festival in the same way we have in the past. As we looked for ways to celebrate the spirit of our community this year, we decided to modify our raffle and hold a Craft Walk.
We look forward to returning to our traditional festivities with a full Fall Festival in 2021!

The St. Boni’s Fall Festival brings thousands to Saint Bonaventure Catholic Community, celebrating together at an event that goes beyond the ordinary. Saint Bonaventure has called the Bloomington community home for more than 60 years. We are delighted to celebrate with our broader community by way of this festival for 50 years!

More than 400 volunteers from our community come together with their hands, feet, and hearts to make this tradition a success. There is a Broasted Chicken Dinner on Friday evening from 4:30-7 p.m. in the Activities Building. Saturday morning, the Fall Festival kicks-off with a Kids Parade at 10 a.m. and concludes Saturday with a “come as you are” Mass at 7 p.m. The St. Boni’s Fall Festival has fun for everyone; here are a few highlights this year.

26th Anniversary of the Car Show
Nearly 300 classic cars, trucks, and hot rods ’79 and older come from all over for the 26th Anniversary St. Boni’s Car Show.

Fabulous Food
From Vietnamese egg rolls made in our very own kitchen to a special custom pork seasoning for our premier pork chops, our diverse parish is reflected in our distinct food options. Last year they introduced  a special brat made for our festival from the Brat Barn in Hermantown, Minnesota.

Kid’s Parade
We kick-off our community festival with our youngest parishioners in their best costumes along with the Kennedy High School Marching Band and Jefferson High School Drum Corps. Friar Bryan, our new pastor, served as our Grand Marshal in 2019. The parade route circles our property on 10th Ave., 92nd Street and Chicago.

Fun for Everyone
All ages and all interests. From kids’ activities and crafts to live entertainment, a cash raffle, games of chance, and cold beverages there is festival fun for everyone.
