Teen Nights with St. Boni and Nativity Youth Ministry
We are teaming up with Nativity of Mary to offer monthly Teen Nights! We will provide a place where teens can feel at home in the Church, learn about their faith in an engaging way, grow in their relationship with the Lord, and have fun, too! Teen Nights are open to any and all middle and high school students. Teen Nights will occur on the first Sunday every month in our Youth Room at Saint Bonaventure; evenings will typically include a talk, small groups, prayer, food, and fun activities. 
  • Sunday, January 8 - Epiphany of the Lord - Christmas Celebration
  • Sunday, February 5 - Trivia Night
  • Sunday, March 5 - Lent - Grill the Priest: Ask Father James and Father Nathan anything!
  • Sunday, April 2 - Palm Sunday -  All about Holy Week
  • Sunday, May 7 - First Friday and First Saturday Devotions
  • Sunday, June 4 - Sacred Heart of Jesus and Sacred Blood of Jesus Devotions, July ‘98 revelations

  • ALL GRADES 6-12 share a relaxed time of fun & fellowship from 5:45 - 6:15 p.m.

Saint Bonaventure Scholarship
The Saint Bonaventure Scholarship honors high school seniors for their academic excellence and their contributions to our parish and the community. Our scholarship program was founded by an endowment from former parishioners Ed and Rita Pidde in 2000 and has continued to grow through the generosity of our community at Saint Bonaventure. 

Each year two $1,000 scholarships are awarded to graduating high school senior parishioners. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher, be a senior in High School, and an active member of Saint Bonaventure and in the community. Scholarships will be awarded in June and may be used for college, university, or technical college.

Youth Ministry Volunteers
Youth Ministry Volunteers receive an opportunity to lead youth to grow deeper in their faith. They help with events, CORE Team, and anything related to the ministry. Youth Ministry Volunteers must complete and maintain Essential 3 (E3) Requirements for Safe Environment.

Catholic Youth Summer Camp 2023
Catholic Youth Summer Camp AKA CYSC with Damascus offers high-adventure activities and sacramental opportunities for youth to encounter our Catholic faith. Learn more at cysc.com/northwoods. 

We encourage you to register for Session 5 (July 9 - 14) because Emily from Nativity of Mary will join students that week. This session is for campers entering 6 - 9 grade, and those entering 10 - 12 grade can serve on the prayer or discipleship team. Can’t go July 9 - 14? Feel free to choose a different session; anyone can go to any week without a youth minister or group (transportation not provided). If enough students are interested, Emily may arrange for a Session 5 bus.

​Cost: $520
  • Scholarship Opportunities: Through the financial generosity of our parishioners, we offer $250 camp scholarships for established parish families and CORE Team families. Our community offers these scholarships to encourage as many kids as possible to experience the blessings of attending camp. Please register with the $150 down payment to secure your spot and contact Rebecca, 952-297-8424, rebeccan@saintbonaventure.org no later than April 28. Damascus also offers scholarships for campers. Please contact them directly at financialaid@damascus.net for further information.
Who: Grades 6-12
             Middle School Sessions are open to campers entering grades 6-9.
             High school students may apply 
to serve as leaders or they can attend as campers in the High School Session which is the first week of July.

Catholic HEART Workcamp
Service camp offering mission trips for youth. Participants travel to a particular location, unite with other Catholic youth from around the U.S., and do whatever the community is needing. Examples include child care, building ramps, neighborhood projects, etc. Evenings are spent as a large group with fun, prayer and programming. On Friday, there’s the option of going some place fun in the area for a free day before traveling home.  Learn more at heartworkcamp.com.

​Who: Grades 8-12

When and Where: Pick a location and week that work for you. St. Edward might bring a group of campers (TBD: potentially Kansas City, July 9 -15) but anyone can go to any week without a youth minister or group. 

Totus Tuus (Grades 7-12)
This year’s theme is The Mystery of Salvation along with the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. Totus Tuus (Latin for Totally Yours) is a fun and energetic summer catechetical program. They gather together college students and seminarians (oftentimes NET missionaries) into teams of four to train them and send them out on the road to various parishes throughout the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis. World Youth Day
Join Nativity of Mary and the Diocese of Winona-Rochester on pilgrimage to World Youth Day  in Lisbon, Portugal! Join Chris Stefanick for special rallies, prayer, festival, fellowship and sacraments. Attend catechesis and visit the world-famous pilgrimage site in Fatima. Enjoy a post trip extension to Spain where you will experience sites in Madrid, Toledo and Avila. Who: Open to ages 16 - 35. A parent or guardian must accompany any pilgrim under 18.
