Holy Week

Virtual Holy Week Retreat
This week-long virtual retreat begins Palm Sunday, April 5, with Mass from Saint Paul Seminary and culminates with Easter Vigil Mass from the Cathedral of Saint Paul on April 11. Videos will be live streamed on Facebook and posted at archspm.org/holyweek for all who would like to participate. Each day has two parts:
  1. Mass or prayer at 9 a.m. followed by directed Lectio Divina.
  2. Evening session at 7 p.m, consisting of conferences from Archbishop Bernard Hebda, Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Father Charles Lachowitzer and Father John Ubel.

Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross bring us closer to Christ as we meditate on the great love He showed for us in His most sorrowful Passion.
Holy Thursday
  • Friar Bryan offers a spiritual reflection based on the Scriptural Readings from the Holy Thursday Liturgy.

Holy Saturday
The Church will be closed from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Easter Sunday
Easter Mass has been recorded at Saint Bonaventure Catholic Church.
  • Friar Bryan's bulletin notes are posted on the Notes from Our Friar blog page.
Easter Mass Worship Aid
My house is a house of prayer for all people. - Isaiah 56:7
The church (Door 5) is open daily between 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. for anyone to come forth to pray. We are touched that many come to pray in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament within the tabernacle. Please respect social distancing.

Church Environment
The Church will be decorated accordingly for Holy Week and Easter. Feel free to make a prayerful visit during these holy days of our Lord’s Passion and Resurrection!

Palm Branches
Have been blessed and are available for you to pick up, find them in baskets near the statue of the Holy Family. Drop off any “old” palm branches which will be burned in the Holy Fire at Eastertide.

The Word Among Us
Pick up your copy near the statue of the Holy Family. The Word Among Us is provided by the parish in both English and Spanish.
