Farewell Sing-Along
August 27 at 4 p.m.

Farewell Sing-Along
Join us in the church for a farewell music event celebrating Karen's 19 years of Music and Liturgy leadership!

Thank you, Karen!
Saint Bonaventure has a rich liturgical tradition, and Karen Thompson has created a special chapter for us. We have benefitted from Karen's great talents, from the gift of perfect pitch to crafting many arrangements. Trained in the Archdiocese of Chicago, Karen is a steel trap of liturgical knowledge. She has worked at parishes across the United States and brought a wealth of experience with her to Saint Bonaventure. Karen will be retiring this Fall.

We are grateful! We have people who came here because of the music and stayed here for the music. We are proud to have been the home of great contemporary and uplifting music—from Karen to Marty Haugen, Mark Schultz, and back to the beginning with Loretta Kaley.

We wish Karen a long an enjoyable retirement!
