Apologetics Study / How to Explain Your Faith
Last updated August 26, 2010 - 10:29am. Adult Faith Formation Special EventsA study of Apologetics will be offered in parallel with this Fall’s Alpha Course. Apologetics builds our own faith, and helps us explain it to others. This sequence using Dr. Scott Hahn’s “Reasons to Believe” book and associated DVD series will run on Thursday evenings, for 10 weeks, beginning Sept. 16th with a hot meal at 6PM in the activities building.
Following the meal and a short program, the groups will view the evening’s teaching on video, and then have facilitated small group discussions. Pre-registration is required, and the cost is $25 per person. Registrations will begin at weekend Masses in late August. Each participant will receive a copy of Dr. Hahn’s book, a booklet “Beginning Apologetics #1: How to Explain and Defend the Catholic Faith”, and a workbook of discussion questions.
