Young Adults

YAG

Have you ever looked around St. Bonaventure's during Mass and wondered where all the young families are? Or all the young adults you remember seeing every weekend at Mass not too long ago? Are you a young adult who can't find the time or opportunity to meet people your age who share your love for the Church; or a chance to share your faith with those who don't? Would you like an opportunity to serve your parish and community? Would you like to attend activities at St. Bonaventure's--or throughout the Metro--but don't know anybody your age you could go with?

The mission of the Young Adults Group is to provide the 18-40 year olds of our parish and the Metro area a place to grow spiritually and meet socially with other young adults. We offer events both social and spiritual in nature. Outings, concerts, book and DVD discussions, guest speakers, Bible studies, and game nights. Our schedule of events and links to sites that young adults may find interesting or spiritually compelling may be found here or on facebook, St. Bonaventure Young Adults Group.

Saint Olaf Young Adult (SOYA) Book Club

Members of SOYA read a different book each month and then meet on a Sunday after Mass to discuss the book. The group chooses books that cover a wide variety of topics, from literary novels to Church history and theology.

Friday Sports Night

Friday Sports Night

Gather every Friday night for an evening of fellowship as we play sports and end with prayer.  We now include board games into our nights as an extra activity this winter.  We will remain indoors throughout the winter, and move back to Rahn Athletic Field in the summer.
