Parish Staff

Fr Richard is a native son of this parish. In 1963 he left to go to the minor seminary of the Conventual Franciscans in southern Indiana. He attended college at St Louis University and then studied theology at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. Introducing himself to the community he wrote: "I professed my solemn vows here and was ordained here in 1975. I have good memeories of the community. It is a privilege to be able to serve the parish which helped to nourish my vocation..." Fr Richard joined our Parish in August 2010. |

Deacon Jon has been a parishioner since 1978. Over the years Jon has been involved in all aspects of the parish serving on numerous committees. Deacon Jon retired from the Minneapolis Police Department in 1997 after 28 years of service. He was ordained a deacon in September of 1999. Deacon Jon performs the sacraments of Baptism and Matrimony, does funeral/graveside services, is a field advocate for annulments, is Chaplain for the Boy Scouts and is involved with nursing home Communion Services. In his spare time, Jon has a full time job, is continuing his education and he and his wife, Joan enjoy traveling and spending time with their 6 children/spouses and 4 grandchildren.

Ardith, who lives in Eagan, joined the staff in July 2004. She received her degree in Business Administration from the College of St Catherine in St Paul through their weekend educational program. Prior to joining St Bonaventure, Ardith worked for nine years at a Franciscan parish in east St Paul as a Business Administrator. |

Karen joined the St Bonaventure staff in February of 2004. Born in Wisconsin, she has worked most of the last 21 years just outside Chicago. She graduated with a degree in music and music education. Her post graduate studies were in music theory and composition. She also has extensive training and experience in the area of Liturgy. |

Joan has been a parishioner since 1978. Over the years she has volunteered with many of the programs and ministries of the parish. She graduated from Sophia University in Tokyo and was in the first class to receive the Archdiocesan Certificate of Lay Ministry. She enjoys the people-to-people contact and strives to maintain a friendly and Franciscan atmosphere in the office. Joan and her husband, Deacon Jon, have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. |

Gayle and her husband Richard live in Chanhassen. Their three adult children all live in the area. Gayle graduated from Loretto Heights College and CWRU and has a MSN with a clinical specialty in Public Health. She brings to her position experience in hospitals, home care, public health and as parent educator of Early Childhood Family Education. |

Gary has been on staff here since 2000. Growing up in a military family, Gary has lived in a number of places including Texas, Alaska, North Dakota, Hawaii, California and the Philippine Islands. Gary served in the military before attending Chaminade University in Honolulu where he was a brother with the Sacred Hearts Community. Gary has degrees in Communications, Education and Theological Studies. |

Tricia began working in religious education at St Bonaventure in September of 2000. She also works in Accounts Payable and is the church librarian. Her prior experience includes temporary accounting work and federal government employment. Tricia is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and a certified public accountant. She and her husband have 4 children. |

Mary joined the staff in August 2006. Born in Chicago, she moved to Minnesota and began work as an editorial assistant for TV Guide Magazine. Baptized Catholic while in high school, but never confirmed, she has been an active Christian since June 1980. Through a series of events, including a special touch from God at Divine Mercy Sunday, she finally embraced Catholicism whole-heartedly through the sacrament of Confirmation at St Agnes Church in December 2002. She holds a degree in Communications (Written Concentration), from the College of St Catherine in St Paul and has worked professionally in the areas of magazine and religious book publishing. She comes to St Bonaventure after having worked for three years at Pro-Life Action Ministries. |
