Alpha

A 10-week Practical Introduction
to the Christian Faith

What's Alpha?

Alpha is an exploration of Christianity for people from a wide range of spiritual  backgrounds.  It is presented in a fun, non-threatening format.    The asking of questions is encouraged.  It presents the basic Gospel message.  Alpha is a course, a practical tool for evangelism, and life in the Spirit.  Are you seeking a deeper spiritual life, or want to pursue spiritual questions: Join us for an exciting Alpha Course. Meet new friends, learn more about Christianity.

Anyone can come. Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith is welcome.
Learning and laughter. Join others in a relaxed atmosphere.
Pasta (or other great food.) Each weekly session begins with dinner.
Helping one another. Dinner is followed by large-group presentation and small group discussion.
Ask anything. Here's your chance to ask your questions and express your opinions.

Course Format

The fellowship typically starts with the Information/Overview Dinner each September.  Each evening includes dinner at 6:00 pm on Thursdays, in our Social Hall located in the activities building. Beyond dinner,  evenings include a short program of song and laughter, a teaching (usually on video), and facilitated small group discussions. The Course and dinners are free to Alpha participants, though there is a charge for the associated Retreat.

Invitation

Come yourself.  Maybe you know some friends, neighbors, relatives, or co-workers who could benefit from the Course. Invite them to the next course.  Our earliest next course would be Fall 2012.
